When you choose Merge Media to build your site, you’re investing in a site that not only looks great but will rank well in Google too.
You wouldn’t build a house without laying good foundations and a website is no different!
The Search Engine Optimisation process is not a quick task that should be completed at the end of a website project.
It often takes months or years to build a good Google reputation and make lasting improvements to the organic ranking of a website. This is why all our sites are started with a solid plan based around comprehensive keyword research. It allows us to lay the best possible foundation for your site so it begins to rank well organically from the start.
We begin each project by completing a comprehensive and detailed keyword and competitor analysis to set the right content structure of the website.
The process starts with the selection of keywords or phrases that customers may search to find you. We compare these against where the on-line competition are ranking on those terms, then finalise a master set of keywords that can be used for both organic and Pay Per Click (AdWords) optimisation and your other digital advertising.
Our SEO experts will optimise both the on page factors (page titles, URL’s, meta descriptions and content) on the website itself as well as the off page factors such as inbound links to the website.
It’s important for your digital marketing campaigns and organic website optimisation to be in sync. For some keywords, the website might be ranking quite well organically so there is little need for targeting an Adwords campaign for the same keywords. In other cases, where keywords are not ranking well, it is advisable to embark on Google Adwords campaign targeting the pay per click search results.
We are proud to be affiliated with David Partis from Website Optimisers to take care of all our keyword research & analysis.
