Selwyn Shuttles – Brand Identity

Selwyn Shuttles, a new shuttle company based in the picturesque Selwyn region of New Zealand’s South Island, approached us to develop their very first logo and brand identity.

As a new company, they needed a professional and engaging brand that would resonate with both locals and tourists, capturing the beauty of the Selwyn area.

Recognising the importance of a strong visual identity for attracting clients that stood out compared to competitors, we set out to create a logo that encapsulated the stunning landscapes of Selwyn. Our design integrated an ‘S’ into the shape of a mountain, allowing it to be interpreted as a river, representing the Selwyn River, or a road, symbolising their shuttle service. This multifaceted design reflects the versatility and scenic routes offered by Selwyn Shuttles.

In addition to the primary logo, we created a series of secondary graphics featuring imagery of the Selwyn ranges. We were initially challenged to find the perfect photo of the Selwyn mountains until Renee saw some photos that her friend posted online. Seeing their potential, she asked for permission to use them, knowing they would be the perfect addition to the project.

These graphics were integrated into their business card design, adhering to the newly established brand colours and guidelines, resulting in a cohesive and visually striking brand identity.

With their new branding, Selwyn Shuttles can confidently present themselves as a professional and visually appealing service. Their stunning new business cards, vehicle signage, and website now reflect the beauty of Selwyn and the quality of their shuttle services.
